Barangkali untuk anda yang masa kecilnya di era tahun 90-an cukup mengingat catchphrase tersebut, ya itu adalah salah satu jurus dari karakter Cygnus Hyoga yang merupakan salah satu protagonis di serial anime Saint Seiya. Saint Seiya sendiri di Indonesia sangat terkenal sebagai salah satu dari jajaran anime terfavorit era 90-an silam dan menjadi sebuah warisan masa kanak-kanak pada saat itu. Untuk yang tidak merasakan era itu atau belum mengenal Saint Seiya, Saint Seiya sendiri adalah sebuah seri anime & manga yang menceritakan 5 orang jagoan yang memiliki baju tempur berdasarkan rasi bintang, kelima jagoan ini hanya memiliki satu misi utama yaitu melindungi Dewi Athena dari ancaman musuh.

Gameplay & Features

Saint Seiya Soldiers Soul merupakan game fighting dimana karakternya didesain dalam bentuk 2 dimensi sedangkan arena pertarungannya sendiri disajikan dalam tampilan 3 dimensi, hal ini juga diimplementasikan pada game Saint Seiya Omega Ultimate Cosmo . Untuk ukuran game hasil adaptasi game ini tidak banyak mengemas fitur menarik, anda hanya akan disajikan sebuah pertarungan murni 1 vs 1 yang sangat standar. Hal menarik lainnya yang menjadi nilai plus adalah 'pace' atau tempo pertarungan yang cenderung cepat dan tampilan visual game yang kerap kali menghasilkan kilatan-kilatan cahaya cosmo. Singkat kata keren, bagi anda yang juga lahir di era 90-an atau sudah mengenal Saint Seiya hal ini bisa diibaratkan anda sedang menonton HD Remake Saint Seiya, tentu saja sekaligus dapat memainkan karakter favorit anda.

Saint Seiya Soldiers Soul juga menawarkan sejumlah mode permainan beberapa diantaranya adalah:

Legend of Cosmo: di dalam mode ini kita akan mengarungi cerita yang terbagi atas 4 chapter ( Sanctuary, Poseidon, Asgard & Hades)

Battle: mode ini berisi sejumlah mode seperti vs battle, survival, galaxy war, training & tutorial.
Online Battle
Battle of Gold: pada mode ini anda akan bertarung sebagai salah 1 dari 12 gold saint dan menggunakan God cloth untuk menyelesaikan sejumlah tantangan.

Pros & Cons

+ Karakter yang dihadirkan dalam game sangat banyak walaupun tidak sampai menghadirkan karakter dari serial anime Saint Seiya Omega.

+ Tempo pertarungan sangat cepat, hal ini menjadikan anda pun harus mengatur strategi kapan anda mengeluarkan serangan spesial, melancarkan sejumlah kombo ataupun mengeluarkan jurus pamungkas. Karena pasalnya ai dalam game juga cukup pintar (tergantung tingkat kesulitan mana yang anda pilih).

+ Grafis game nya sangat keren meskipun ditampilkan dalam 2 dimensi, namun hal inilah yang justru menjadi pemikat bagi saya yang penggemar lama. Efek visual seperti kilatan cahaya dan efek dari jurus-jurus juga terbilang sangat keren, selain itu efek dari jurus pamungkas yang dikeluarkan serasa anda sedang menonton anime nya.

Selain memberikan dub english & japanese , game ini juga memberikan dub bahasa lainnya seperti portugis, brazil  dan lainnya (karena tidak hanya di negara asalnya yaitu Jepang dan di Indonesia saja, Saint Seiya juga terkenal di beberapa negara).

Untuk ukuran umum game ini tidak banyak menawarkan fitur lain, anda hanya akan dapat memainkannya dengan cukup lama jikalau anda seorang yang perfeksionis. Karakter dan kostum karakter dapat dibuka menggunakan sejumlah point yang anda kumpulkan dari bertarung dan membelinya di menu Collection.

Conclusions

Saint Seiya Soldiers Soul terbilang terlalu standar untuk ukuran game fighting, namun dimata para penggemar setianya game ini terbilang menarik karena berhasil menyajikan tampilan karakter ala anime dan efek visual yang sangat keren. Pertarungan tempo cepat yang secara visual juga disajikan sangat luwes yang serta merta diikuti oleh lenggokan para Saint mengeluarkan jurus-jurus pamungkasnya. Selain itu pertama kalinya pula game Saint Seiya akhirnya bisa hijrah ke PC selain eksklusif dirilis hanya untuk konsol, tentunya jika anda memiliki spesifikasi PC yang cukup mumpuni anda bisa menikmati game ini dengan efek visual yang lebih keren.

Dilansir sebagai game adaptasi dari anime/manga yang terkenal dikalangan para penggemarnya, seri game Naruto merilis seri terakhir dari Ultimate Ninja, yaitu Naruto Shippuuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4. Game ini mengemas dengan baik cerita perang dunia ninja sampai tamat, serta membawa sejumlah fitur yang tidak kalah menarik. Apa saja fitur menarik tersebut simak review yang saya sajikan hari ini.

Utamanya game ini memiliki 4 mode permainan, yaitu: Story mode dimana kita akan bermain sebagai Naruto dan Sasuke untuk menyelesaikan sejumlah pertarungan melawan musuh yang familiar pada beberapa chapter/episode terakhir manga/anime nya. Mode berikutnya adalah Adventure Mode, pada mode ini disisipkan cerita pendek mengenai beberapa karakter di serial Naruto setelah event ending nya, beberapa diantaranya pula memiliki koneksi dengan movie The Last, contohnya saja alasan mengapa Shino Aburame akhirnya menjadi guru ninja di Konoha. Mode ketiga adalah Online Battle, sesuai namanya kita dapat melakukan pertarungan sesama teman lewat koneksi internet. Mode yang terakhir adalah Free Battle, mode ini memiliki banyak variasi mode pertarungan seperti Survival, Tournament, League & Practice. Kurang lebihnya beberapa mode diatas tidak banyak berubah dibandingkan seri game sebelumnya.
 
Gameplay & Features

Mayoritas pola permainan didominasi oleh pertarungan. Memang ada 3 stage pada Story Mode yang memunculkan mode lain seperti beat em all saat misi Boys in the Midst of war, Beyond Death & Beast Roaring in the Tragic Rain.

Sebenarnya serial Naruto sangat cocok diimplementasikan genre beat em all, lihat saja pada game Naruto Ultimate Ninja Impact yang rilis pada handheld Playstation Portable. Beat em All terbilang sukses untuk serial anime yang memiliki kuota karakter cukup banyak. Lihat saja Saint Seiya, One Piece, maupun Fist of North Star yang terbilang sukses memakai genre beat em all. Namun seolah sudah tradisi, Naaruto Ultimate Ninja Storm 4 tetap berfokus pada fighting 1 vs 1 maupun tag team tradisional namun tetap sangat menarik untuk dimainkan terlebih untuk anda yang menginginkan dream match antara karakter favorit.

Peningkatan visual tidak banyak berubah dari seri Ultimate Ninja sebelumnya, namun pada seri game ini anda dapat menghancurkan pakaian lawan (Armor Break) serupa dengan pada seri animenya. Bahkan rusaknya pakaian karakter kita maupun lawan merupakan referensi dari seri anime/manga nya, seperti ketika Sasuke menyerang Itachi dengan jurus Kirin nya atau saat Jiraiya dihujam berbagai serangan oleh 6 path of Pain dan lainnya yang dapat anda temui dalam permainan.

Implementasi fitur menarik lainnya terdapat pada banyaknya kombinasi jurus tag team yang dapat dilakukan dalam gamenya.

Pros & Cons

+ Karakter yang hadir terbilang cukup banyak, belum lagi nampaknya slot karakter belum terisi penuh. Pihak developer mungkin sengaja agar dapat menjual DLC berisi karakter lebih banyak lagi.

+ Efek visual tidak mengalami peningkatan yang signifikan, namun efek seperti pakaian yang mudah sobek saat diserang terus menerus membuat game ini cukup menarik secara detail.

+ Mode Permainan terbilang tradisional hanya mengusung fighting sebagai mode utama dalam permainan, tetapi cukup menarik jika anda salah satu penggemar serial Naruto.

- Ukuran game mengalami peningkatan yang sangat signifikan karena hampir sebagian besar ukuran yang menyita ruang penyimpanan yang tidak sedikit ini didominasi oleh potongan cerita berbentuk video.

- Tidak terlalu monoton sebenarnya untuk anda yang kurang menyukai seri ini, hanya saja developer seharusnya menambahkan mode lain selain mode fighting yang selalu mendominasi seri ini.

Pada seri sebelumnya yaitu: Naruto Shippuuden Ultimate Ninja Storm Revolution, story yang disajikan kurang menarik dan terbilang lebih masuk akal bila dijadikan ekspansi untuk seri Ultimate Ninja Storm 3 Full Burst. Pada seri terbaru ini, Penyajian cerita pada Story Mode dirasa cukup oke, serta penyajian cerita pada Adventure Mode pun memberi nilai tambah untuk gamenya.

Utamanya Naruto Shippuuden Ultimate Ninja Storm 4 ini mengusung pertempuran yang lebih kacau aka 'chaos'. Hilang sudah cita rasa ninja yang selama ini terkenal dengan gaya diam-diamnya, tingkatan jurus dan daya hancurnya melebihi apa yang anda dapatkan pada seri anime lain semisal Dragon Ball, Bleach, One Piece dan lainnya. Mode tag team salah satunya yang menjadikan pertermpuran semakin luar biasa keren ditambah efek visual yang tidak tanggung-tanggung memanjakan mata.

Jika anda adalah gamer yang juga penggemar serial Naruto maka game ini adalah salah satu koleksi wajib anda sebagai penggemar. Terlebih misalnya saja jika anda tengah memilih satu dari seri game Naruto manakah yang menarik dimainkan pada platform PC tentunya. Jika anda cenderung tidak terlalu menikmati penyampaian cerita versi game namun anda cenderung menghabiskan waktu anda membuat sebuah Dream Match antara karakter favorit maka inilah pilihan anda, Karakter yang dimunculkan sangat banyak. Terlebih sampai tulisan ini terbit saya sudah memainkan game ini sampai update DLC terbaru, kira-kira ada 23 slot kosong yang dalam waktu dekat ini akan diisi oleh DLC yang mungkin akan menghadirkan sejumlah karakter ke seri Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm 4.

For me, Naruto Shippuuden Ultimate Ninja Storm Revolution is ‘standalone’ expansion for the previous game which is Naruto Shippuuden Ultimate Ninja Storm 3 Full Burst. It is similar to any Games company that had released the improvised version into standalone version such as Square Enix with Final Fantasy XIII-2 or Koei Tecmo with Warriors/Musou Franchise (Hyper, Z, Xtreme Legends etc), Bandai Namco also do the same thing for Naruto Shippuuden Ultimate Ninja Storm Revolution but as standalone sequel this game contents are very few compare with the previous game simply said it would be good if this game release as expansion for Full Burst in PC version.

I can said that this game should become an expansion because you will not get continuation for the main story after the event from Full Burst, only flashback story (Escapade) that somewhat connecting to any character and uniquely you can enjoyed this kind of story only in this game only (Not release on any medias such as Anime or even Manga Version).

Other selling feature beside the flashback story (Escapade) in this game are additional character & ultimate movement. For the new characters, there’s only two additional new character: Mecha Naruto & Shisui Uchiha; and for ultimate movement, now we can use ultimate movement for tag team mode.

Game modes in this game are mostly dominated by fighting (1 vs 1, 1 vs com & tag team). Any modes that this game offered are:

• Ninja World Tournament: Ninja World Tournament is similar to any fighting modes in this game, the different is you can unlock some rewards such as characters, money & accesories for customizing your favourite characters. By completing this mode once you can unlock Mecha Naruto Story.

• Online mode: Already explained

• Ninja Escapade: Untold stories and exclusively release only on this game.

• Free Battle: Have some modes such as: Training, Survival, Tournament, VS & Challenge modes.

Pros & Cons
 
+ Escapade & Tag Team Ultimate Movement  are the only feature that interesting, especially for those of you that love Naruto.
- There’s no significant improvements from previous game.

Saint Seiya Omega Ultimate Cosmo is the first Saint Seiya game that make a debut in Playstation Portable console. Surprisingly this game was released at the same time with Kamen Rider Super Climax Heroes (make it hard to choose at that time because I also a quite fans with Saint Seiya series).

This game introducing new characters from the new Saint Seiya anime (called as Saint Seiya Omega) alongside the old characters that actually appear in this new anime. All of the characters that can be playable in this game are Pegasus Kouga, Lionet Soma, Aquila Yuna, Dragon Ryuho, Wolf Haruto, Orion Eden, Opiuchus Shaina, Hydra Ichi, Peacock Pavlin, Hornet Sonia, Andromeda Shun, Siren Sorento, Poseidon, Sagittarius Seiya, Capricorn Ionia, Leo Mycenae, Aries Kiki & Libra Genbu.



Game Features

• Story Mode: Poseidon come back to bring down Athena from her throne, as one of Athena new generation Saints you must defeat Poseidon. In order to do that you must collect all 6 gems of Triton through some battles. Once you collect all the gems, you can combine it into suit of Triton / Triton Scale. Story mode has 6 routes that represent each of Athena new saint (Pegasus Kouga, Lionet Soma, Aquila Yuna, Dragon Ryuho, Wolf Haruto & Orion Eden), each route has at least eight battles including battle against final boss (Poseidon). Once you finish all of the 6 routes, you will get new route which is Sagittarius Seiya route.
• Arcade Mode: Fighting against some saints, in this mode you can also unlock some character like:  Aries Kiki (unlock by using Libra Genbu in Arcade Mode), Siren Sorento (unlock by using Lionet Soma in Arcade Mode), Poseidon (unlock by using Siren Sorento in Arcade Mode) and 6 Triton scale saints (unlock by using all 6 Athena saints in Arcade Mode).
• Versus Mode: Fighting against A.I or your friend through Wi-Fi connection.
• Training Mode: The name already explain it, it also has tutorial that teach you some useful moves.

How It Looks ?

Saint Seiya Omega: Ultimate Cosmo has similar gameplay like any typical fighting games. The characters appear in 2D graphic while the environment appear in 3D graphic, so you can perform left or right sidesteps.

The visual effect for this game also very cool beside attack that using cosmo or finishing move, The movement effect for all characters looks very good, like when you perform quick movement there's also afterimage effect or light effect for certain Saints. In this game you can break enemy's armor by hitting them using cosmo energy or finishing move.

Attacking using cosmo may consume 1 block from your special gauge, it gives a little better damage than attacking without using cosmo. There's also finishing move but you must activate awaken mode first (require full 3 blocks of your special gauge). Uniquely the finishing move isn't some absolute attack that will hit the enemy no matter he try to escape, yeah for certain type of characters/Saints has finishing move that easy to dodge. So you must smart enough when and where you can give the finishing move to your enemy or your cosmo will be waste to nothing.

 

 

Pros & Cons

+ The visual effects are very good.

+ Good mechanism on fighting, like armor breaker & chance to dodge finishing move.

- Story Mode quite boring.

- Background Musics are very so-so.

- There's no guard breaker, the most annoying a.i in this game is the one that always put defensive stance no matter what happens.

The Story really easy to understand even though you're not understand Japanese, because it appear in anime scene that you can enjoy to watch.

The Story mode is the most boring mode in this game, simply said in order to finish all routes you must play total 56 battles with almost the same story and event for every each of 6 Athena saints. Though the game mechanisms are very interesting, I guess you will get bored once you unlock all characters.

Conclusions

To summarize this review, It's really hard to enjoy this game, as a debut Saint Seiya Omega : Ultimate Cosmo didn't give a lot of impression, the 'actually' good mechanisms on game are overshadowed by the very boring story mode. The rooster characters for this game also not that many and as an old fans you may dissapointed because there's only few old character that make appearance in this game like Sagittarius Seiya, Andromeda Shun, Siren Sorento & Poseidon. This game also lack the guard breaker mechanism, you will find the enemy that always put defensive stance, it so hard to give him a damage and sometimes you may choose the grab and throw tactic in order to finish him ( well I guess that's not how Saints fight). The Triton scale isn't special stuff in this game, it just a different suits without any special feature for all of 6 Athena's Saint.

Kamen Rider Super Climax Heroes is latest installment from Kamen Rider Climax Heroes series that released on 29 November 2012. In this latest installment, the game didn't used the name of guest Rider as the title (in this case is Kamen Rider Wizard) instead put the 'Super or Chou' word on it. It's indeed worth the name of 'Super' because there's a lot of gameplay improvement and updating new rooster characters.

Remarkable Features
Speaking of Climax Heroes, the most main feature that fans waiting for is the completeness between the old Riders until the new Riders, it's almost complete in Heisei era side but there's no additional new characters on Showa side. The new characters that make debut in this game are Kamen Rider Gills, Kamen Rider Delta, Kamen Rider Chalice, Kamen Rider Leangle, Kamen Rider Zanki, Kamen Rider Todoroki, Kamen Rider The Bee, Kamen Rider Drake, Kamen Rider Sasword, Kamen Rider Saga, Kamen Rider Joker, Kamen Rider Eternal, Kamen Rider Skull, Kamen Rider Meteor & Kamen Rider Wizard.

Not only the completeness of characters, Kamen Rider Super Climax Heroes game also make the original actor reprises their respective role  by doing voice dubbing. The original voice actors that make his comeback are Toshiki Kashu (Agito), Takamasa Suga (Ryuuki & Ryuuga), Takayuki Tsubaki (Blade), Kousei Amano (Garren), Ryoji Morimoto (Chalice), Takahiro Hojo (Leangle), Yuuki Sato (Gattack), Hidenori Tokuyama (1st The Bee & Kick Hopper), Masato Uchiyama (3rd The bee & Punch Hopper), Renn Kiriyama (W & Joker), Sota Fukushi (Fourze), Ryo Yoshizawa (Meteor) & Shunya Shiraishi (Wizard).

Sometimes any Riders also make a short conversation (taken from the story in the series) before starting a battle with the enemy, For example when Kick Hopper meet The Bee (Kageyama version) , The Bee (Kageyama) asking where Kick Hopper 'kanzen chowa' gone and Kick Hopper said that he don't need that anymore. Much resembling the scene in the series with original voice actors that make it look original.

Not only new characters & original voice dubbing that we got in this game, there's also Rider Arts and Free Run System that make a debut in this new installment. Rider arts act as simple finishing move that consume 1 block from your Rider Gauge and Free Run System is new movement feature in this game, you can run freely using all directional button. Due to the two the new features, the control mapping also change into a little bit complicated in order to maximizing the less button in Playstation Portable handheld. Well it doesn't take a long time before you getting accustomed with this new control mapping.

      

Custom Background Music also got new improvement in Kamen Rider Super Climax Heroes. Now we can put background music for each forms for certain Rider, for example:Kamen Rider OOO, we can put Time to Judge All as Tajadol form background music and Got to Keep it Real as Gatakiriba form background music and when we change the Tajadol form into Gatakiriba form in the battle the background music also change from Time to Judge All into Got To Keep it Real, very cool isn't it ? This Custom Background Music is exclusive feature only for Playstation Portable user.

 The Rest Features

Kamen  Rider Super Climax Heroes  also offer the same modes of gameplay like previous game that you can choose such as:

• Super Heroes Mode : The same like Ragnarok Mode in previous game but with upgrading character feature and minus beat em up mission.
• Arcade Mode : Surviving against random enemies.
• Versus CPU Mode : Fighting against chosen or random enemy.
• Versus 2 Player Mode : Playing against your friend through Wireless connection or 2nd player joystick (for Wii ).
• Training Mode: The name already explain it.

Pros & Cons

+ New Kamen Rider Characters.
 
+ Artificial Intelligence for enemy got improvisation that can bee seen on some difficult mission in Super Heroes Mode.

+ Custom Background Music got an improvisation.

+ The new features such as free run system and rider arts are really good.This game also introduce Rider cancel which is make easier doing a long combo.

- Password Missions are less challenging

- There's no beat em up mission, which is make this Kamen Rider Super Climax Heroes gameplay only on fighting mode.

- There's no additional for Showa era Riders and some of them alongside the some Heisei Rider didn't get Rider Arts

Considering that you're a fans of Kamen Rider series, this game is a must play since it is provide a cool mechanism like combo maker, rider arts , some new playable characters or some available new form that now can be play on Super Climax Heroes games. The story isn't that great but you can make a dream match between your favorite character or test your might against your friend.

The graphic isn't that great compare with Wii version but it still have a good details.

Actually you can finish this game less than a day but as I said on Gameplay section above, you can still create your own dream match, playing some password mission or upgrading all your favorite Riders on Super Heroes Mode.

Conclusions

Climax Heroes series is a long range series from the original Climax Heroes that released on Playstation 2. As the long range series, the mechanism of gameplay and availability of characters evolve from time to time. This latest installment of Climax Heroes probably worth the name of Super since it is provide a whole new mechanism such as Combo maker, Rider Arts, Free Run, Custom Background Music and the details of consuming Rider Gauge. The returning original voice actor also become a plus value for this game.
