I have new toy to play called as Joomla, well any of you that work on web programming perhaps know about this but for those who doesn't know about it , Joomla is a program that help you make website easier. I already tried blogger & wordpress to the fullest, so Joomla is completely new for me. My big bro recommend it since he said that it is easier to learn and even we don't need to know about any web programming language (yeah, so true).
The easier on learning Joomla also comes with some issues that sometimes there's a bug that didn't let you finishing the installation progress and it happened to me yesterday. Since I completely new I dunno how long it takes for finishing the installation, I waited several hours but it seems the progress stuck on creating the database. Luckily and also thanks to Google I can find the solution to get rid this problem, Surprisingly there's so many people who got the same problem as me and also many solution that they give to solve this problem. I tried any of them but only one that seems work to me, the solution is :
Increasing Your Maximum Execution Time
- Open 'php.ini' file in your xampp/php directory
- Find max_execution_time in php.ini by pressing Ctrl F and change the default value 30 into 3000.
- Ffter that save the php.ini by pressing Ctrl S, then run the xampp and the Joomla installer.
