The official website Toukiden Extreme give new details on three new weapons that will appear in the game. As we know that three of them are Japanese Spear or Naginata, Kanabo (spiked club) and long range fire arm weapon that look a like riffle.
Now let's take a look the detail for each of three new weapons that will appear on Toukiden Extreme.
Naginata can be an alternative weapon beside Spear that already appear on first Toukiden game. It said that the Naginata has excellent speed attack for a long range weapon but has a low damage. We can enter the Tsuremai state (連舞状態) and perform multiple attack on the same time.
Kanabo has advantages on heavy power and medium range. Same like gauntlet, the speed when your kanabo swing into Oni body will increase as you continue to hit the Oni body. Kanabo also has special attack, it said that the Kanabo special attack is charge attack that has total 9 stage where every 3 stages give you great power to blow Oni body. Charging the Kanabo can take a lot of time, so you must be smart enough to create a chance when and where you can use Kanabo special attack .
Riffle can be a good weapon because it has a long range and great damage (as long as it hit the enemy weakness). The measurement of damage and range are depend on which bullet that you use on Riffle, like when you use bullet bomb it has great deal for area damage. The Rifle also has special attack, it said that you can fire powerfull bullet called as Soul bullet .
Toukiden Extreme will release on this year, with this new update new there's no further information about the exact month & date this game will release.
